A soundbar on its own is still a thin cabinet. It can do voices and detail, but it cannot move enough air to produce low frequencies — that takes physical volume, which is why a bar that tries to do everything ends up sounding flat when the music starts.
The VP2113SB is a 2.1 system: a 1140mm bar for dialogue and detail, plus a separate subwoofer cabinet that does nothing but bass. That division of labour is the whole reason it’s called Deep Bass.

Before You Order
The questions we get asked most
Will it work with my TV?
Yes. If your TV has an HDMI port marked ARC, that’s the best connection — one cable, and your TV remote controls the volume. If it doesn’t, the optical input works on effectively every TV sold in the last decade. You can also feed it from a phone over Bluetooth or a flash drive over USB, with no TV involved at all.
Does it have FM radio?
No — this model has no FM tuner, and we’d rather tell you now than have you find out at the door. If a built-in radio is what you’re after, ask us and we’ll point you at a model that has one.
How big is it? Will it fit my TV unit?
The bar is 1140mm long, 90mm high and 85mm deep — a little over a metre. It suits a 50-inch TV or larger; under anything smaller it will overhang the screen. The subwoofer is 200mm wide, 345mm high and 300mm deep, so it needs floor space roughly the footprint of a shoebox stood on end.
